Scraper Regular Full Time Bozeman, MT, US Salary Range: $25.65 To $25.65 Hourly Job Summary: The purpose of a Scraper is to remove all fill and color from the binding, and peghead inlays. This job is accomplished through the meticulous use of spring steel blades. Scrape enables the beauty of each guitars non-wooden accents to shine through helping create the signature aesthetic of a Gibson Guitar. Essential Functions: Learn and executestandard operating procedures. Remove fill and color from binding and accents. Able to use a razor blade safely and effectively. Correcting any minor defects such as scratches and dings with 320 grit sandpaper. 95% pass rate based on production requirements. Understands and meets quality standards (Specs.) Maintains product flow at appropriate rate. Adheres to department protocols (5S and Safety) Required Skills/Abilities: Strong attention to detail. Develop a strong knowledge of the different models. Outstanding time management skillset with the ability to prioritize without direct supervision. Teamwork and project management skills combined with ability to work as part of a team. Education and Experience: Results oriented and driven, with a track record for delivering to plan. Must be 18 years of age or older. Physical Demands: Must be able to stand entire shift and lift guitars throughout the day.
