About the Position

Job Title: Clinical Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10-hour shifts Hours per Shift: 6:30 am - 5:00 pm Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: Valid RN license from any state of the United States or territory. Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - NIH stroke scale completion within six months - Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) within one year - Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) within two years Must-Have: Experience in clinical and operating room settings, with the ability to circulate in various specialty areas including Orthopedics, ENT, GYN/OB, General, Ophthalmology, and Dental. Description: The Clinical Nurse provides care for perioperative patients. The nursing process includes assessment, formulation of nursing diagnoses, planning interventions, and evaluation of interventions based on patient outcomes. The Operating Room clinical nurse is expected to circulate in all specialty areas. Obtaining scrubbing experience is highly encouraged. May have to work varied hours when on call and prepare for emergency cases on short notice. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary medical team. The facility provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services to the community.
