Site Emergency Preparedness:• Build and maintain a site Emergency Action Plan for each project, including nearest trauma and burn centers, helicopter landing zones, GPS coordinates, turbine/pad IDs, and local EMS rendezvous points.
• Stand by for high-risk work such as crane picks, blade and nacelle lowering, tower and component cutting, torch cutting and hot work, and blade sizing with saws and shears.
• Support rescue planning for confined spaces and work at height, coordinating with trained rescue teams and local fire departments.
• Mobilize on short notice to support catastrophic blade loss response and emergency projects.
Logistics and Equipment Readiness:• Operate the site response vehicle (UTV, pickup, or rescue unit) in emergency and non-emergency modes over lease roads and rough terrain.
• Maintain medical equipment, trauma kits, AEDs, oxygen, and the response vehicle in ready condition.
• Track medical supply inventory and expiration dates, and coordinate restocking between project sites.
Worker Health and Injury Prevention:• Run daily heat and cold stress monitoring, hydration programs, and fit-for-duty checks.
• Conduct pre-shift safety briefings on health topics and promote early reporting of injuries and symptoms.
• Deliver CPR/AED, first aid, and Stop the Bleed training to crews.

• Keep the Project Manager and QHSE Manager informed of all medical incidents and site health concerns.
Reporting and Documentation:• Document every patient contact accurately in the prescribed format, considering legal, OSHA recordkeeping, and patient privacy requirements.
• Maintain site medical logs, daily reports, and Emergency Action Plans for each project.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including drug and alcohol testing collection if certified.

Technical Skills:• Competency in BLS procedures and equipment, including AEDs, airway adjuncts, oxygen therapy, and epinephrine auto-injectors.
• Hazardous materials recognition consistent with FEMA guidelines.
• Ability to read maps, use GPS coordinates, and navigate rural lease roads.
Leadership and Interpersonal Skills:• Good judgment and the ability to stay calm and make decisions under stress.
• Clear verbal communication by phone and radio, and accurate written documentation.
• Ability to build trust with field crews and coach them on safe work practices.
Physical Requirements:• Ability to lift and carry up to 125 lbs, and up to 250 lbs with assistance.
• Ability to walk long distances over rough terrain, kneel, bend, and work in confined or elevated spaces and low light.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme heat, cold, wind, rain, and dust, and to tolerate loud noise from heavy equipment.
• Ability to wear required PPE for full shifts, typically 10 to 12 hours.
Other Requirements:• Willingness to travel nationwide on a 6 weeks on, 1 week off rotation schedule, and to live in project-area lodging while on rotation.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check, MVR review, and pre-employment drug screen.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and other regulatory compliance requirements.
Compensation and Benefits:• Pay range: This is an exempt salaried position with a pay range of $54,080 –
