The position requires working night shifts of 3x12 hours. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing. Travel experience is preferred, along with previous charge experience. The nurse will work with a patient ratio of 3:1. Experience with the Epic charting system is required. Certifications required include ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC. The role involves caring for a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily census averages 34 patients, with approximately 32 visits per day. Nurses must be capable of performing a variety of emergency nursing skills. Candidates should be prepared to manage potentially life-threatening conditions. A commitment to providing high-quality patient care is essential.
