As part of the Memory IP team, you will take innovative and revolutionary ideas and turn them into reality in Qualcomm’s Snapdragon products. This is a highly visible role where your design will highly influence various parts of CPU/GPU/Modem/NSP/Camera designs.Position will be located in San Diego, CA.Education:Master's degree in Science, Engineering, Entry Level.ORPhD in Science, Engineering, Entry Level.ResponsibilitiesAs a member of our team, your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):Develop custom digital circuits for high-speed and low-power SRAM designs.Schematic capture, simulation of major blocks, margin verificationsLayout planning and supervisionInteracting with CAD team for full verification and model generationInteracting with SoC teams (CPU, GPU, Modem, etc) to define memory PPA targets.Qualifications2+ years of academic or professional experience designing embedded memories for SoC applications.Knowledge in CPU L1/L2 cache design, compiler SRAM/Register File architectures and advanced custom circuit implementationsKnowledge of high-performance and low-power design features & techniquesKnowledge of semiconductor device fundamentalsFamiliar with variation-aware design in nanomenter CMOS & FinFet technology nodesExperience with tight pitch-matched memory layout designsGood understanding of physical implementation impact on circuit performanceMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.ORMaster's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.ORPhD in Science, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
