Oncology Nurse Educator - Birmingham, AL

AbbVie seeks an experienced oncology nurse educator to provide clinical education and resources to healthcare professionals supporting cancer patients. The role involves proactive engagement across academic and community oncology settings, focusing on disease and product education for hematologic and solid tumor malignancies.
Responsibilities
- Deliver proactive and reactive education to allied health professionals on approved therapies and patient management
- Develop customized educational plans addressing account-specific clinical needs and challenges
- Educate clinicians on product preparation, administration, adverse event monitoring, and mitigation strategies
- Conduct 1:1 presentations, in-services, and other approved educational programs at oncology accounts
- Document customer interactions and clinical insights; support internal sales team training initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, NP, PA, or PharmD; master's degree preferred
- Current active healthcare provider license
- 7+ years clinical oncology/hematology experience with recent hematology background
- Experience in academic and/or community oncology practice settings
- Strong communication, presentation, and clinical data interpretation skills
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; ability to travel 50% including overnight
