Allen Chevrolet Cadillac an automotive in its search for an organized and detail-oriented Finance Assistant .

The Finance Assistant supports the dealership’s Finance & Insurance (F&I) department throughout the sales and financing process. This position works closely with the Business Manager, Sales team, lenders, customers, and other dealership departments to help ensure deals are processed accurately, documentation is complete, and customers have a smooth experience from purchase through delivery.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with financial and customer documentation, able to manage multiple priorities, and committed to accuracy and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Support the Business Manager with the day-to-day administrative functions of the Finance & Insurance department
• Assist with preparing and processing customer finance and sales documentation
• Review deal paperwork for accuracy, completeness, required signatures, and supporting documentation
• Assist with processing and tracking customer credit applications and financing documentation
• Communicate with customers to obtain required information and documentation needed to complete transactions
• Assist with submitting required information and documentation to lenders and financial institutions
• Track deal status, financing approvals, outstanding documentation, and funding requirements
• Follow up on missing or incomplete paperwork to help ensure deals are processed and funded in a timely manner
• Assist with preparing contracts, warranty documentation, protection products, and other F&I-related paperwork
• Maintain accurate customer and transaction information within dealership systems
• Coordinate with Sales, Finance, Accounting, and other departments to ensure accurate and timely deal processing
• Assist with customer deposits, closing documentation, and delivery preparation as needed
• Maintain organized electronic and physical deal files
• Protect confidential customer and financial information and follow all applicable company, state, and federal requirements
• Provide professional and responsive communication to customers, lenders, and internal team members
• Assist the Business Manager with additional administrative and operational duties as needed

Experience

• Previous administrative, finance, banking, dealership, automotive, lending, or related experience preferred
• Experience working with financial documents, contracts, customer records, or transaction paperwork is beneficial
• Previous dealership F&I or sales administration experience is a plus but not required
• Strong computer and data-entry skills
• Experience working with dealership management systems, CRM systems, Microsoft Office, or similar software is beneficial
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work accurately with detailed and confidential information
