As a Pediatric Emergency Room Nurse, you will be a critical part of a dynamic team, providing specialized care to pediatric patients. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patient types, including Peds Hem/Onc, Med Surg, and all pediatric specialties. The facility offers a supportive environment where you can thrive and grow professionally.

• Provide high-quality care to pediatric patients in the emergency room setting
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical systems to document patient care
• Float across NICU, B3 general floor, and PICU as needed
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4 in a 12-bed unit
• Work every 4th weekend and 1-2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays

Requirements:

• Need 2 years experience in setting
• Pediatric experience within the previous 24 months
• Pediatric Emergency Room experience within the previous 15 months
• EPIC electronic medical systems experience within the previous 12 months
• Must have completed at least one travel contract within the previous 18 months
• Active Iowa or compact/multistate RN license
• AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS certification
• AHA/American Heart Association PALS certification
• TNCC certification
