About ERC Pathlight Founded in 2008, ERC Pathlight provides treatment for eating disorders, mood, anxiety and trauma‑related conditions, serving more than 6,000 patients annually. Job Summary The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) works under nursing supervision to provide direct care to inpatient and residential patients. Responsibilities include milieu management, patient supervision, safety monitoring, therapeutic program participation, meal and bathroom support, documentation, and assistance with activities of daily living. Schedule Rotating schedule: Week 1 – Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Week 2 – Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Responsibilities Milieu management, including: Maintaining daily program structure by following the program schedule Completing observation rounds and safety checks as ordered by the physician Working with patients on de‑escalation and implementing coping skills per treatment plan Conducting room and luggage searches Taking patients out for fresh‑air breaks Providing patient transportation to medical appointments (may vary by location and program) Taking vital signs, weights, and urine specific gravity (may vary by location and program) Acting as secondary support staff in group therapy (may vary by location and program) Providing meal support and bathroom monitoring Completing documentation of patient observations, meals and individual check‑ins that occur during shift Assisting with morning routine and activities of daily living while patients are in spa/bathroom Qualifications – BHT I High school diploma or GED (required) Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record (required for locations that use company vehicles) Six months of direct patient care experience (preferred) Mental Health/Psych Tech or CNA certification (preferred) Qualifications – BHT II High school diploma or GED (required) One year of direct patient care experience (required) Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record (required for locations that use company vehicles) Mental Health/Psych Tech or CNA certification (preferred) Minimum of one year of ERC milieu experience (required for internal teammates only) Compensation Washington Pay Range: $22.32 - $25.58 USD.
