We are hiring Visitor Experience Assistants to support peak operations at a beautiful Museum in Washington, DC. T his role will provide weekend support, on a 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM schedule. The initial schedule will include Fridays & Saturdays, with an additional Sunday added in later.
You’ll play a key role in keeping daily operations running smoothly in a high-volume public environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Welcoming visitors and providing excellent customer service.
- Assisting with entry flow and wayfinding
- Collecting attendance and zip code data
- Supporting crowd management and maintaining an organized environment
- Assisting with activities and programs for school aged children and groups
- Monitoring safety and reporting incidents promptly
What We’re Looking For
- Friendly, professional, and approachable
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-traffic setting
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable and punctual for a consistent schedule
- Experience working with children is a plus
