We are seeking four dedicated and compassionate Educational Technicians (Level II or III) to join our elementary team for the 2026-2027 school year in Damariscotta. We are looking for professionals who are passionate about supporting student growth within a life-skills-based curriculum.

Position Overview

• Location: Damariscotta
• Grade Level: K-5
• Term: August 2026 – June 2027 (Full Academic Year)
• Schedule: 32 hours per week (Full-Time Equivalent)
• Pay Range: $22.00 – $28.00 per hour (Based on experience and certification level)

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will work closely with lead teachers and specialists to provide both academic and functional support to students. Your primary focus will be:

• Implementing life-skills-based curriculum tailored to individual student needs.
• Providing 1:1 or small group instructional support in K-5 classrooms.
• Assisting with behavioral interventions and social-emotional coaching.
• Supporting students in developing independence in daily living activities and classroom transitions.
• Collaborating with the special education team to track progress on individual learning goals.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Certification : Must hold a valid State Authorization for Educational Technician II or III.
• Experience : Previous experience working with elementary-aged children in a school or developmental setting is preferred.
• Skills : * Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, adaptability, and a student-centered mindset.
• Ability to follow and implement specialized behavioral and academic plans.
• Background Check : Must pass a criminal history record check.
