Job Description Job Description Location: Indian To-Go Restaurant / Fresh Kitchen Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Pay: Based on experience We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our Indian kitchen team. Our kitchen specializes in Indian street food, curries, fried snacks, Indo-Chinese items, and fresh to-go meals. The ideal candidate should be quick, dependable, willing to learn, and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Prior kitchen or restaurant experience is a plus, but not required. Responsibilities: Help the main chef with daily kitchen preparation Wash, cut, chop, and prep vegetables and ingredients Assist with preparing snacks, curries, sauces, batters, and other menu items Help with frying, packing, cleaning, and organizing food orders Keep the kitchen area clean, sanitized, and well organized Follow food safety and hygiene standards Restock ingredients and supplies as needed Support the chef and kitchen team during busy hours Perform other kitchen duties as assigned Requirements: Must be quick, active, and willing to work Ability to stand for long hours and work in a fast-paced environment Basic kitchen knowledge is preferred Prior restaurant, Indian kitchen, or food prep experience is a plus Must be reliable, punctual, and hardworking Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Knowledge of Indian food is a plus Work authorization required About the Kitchen: We are an Indian restaurant / fresh kitchen mainly focused on to-go orders, serving items such as Indian street food, curries, fried snacks, and Indian-Chinese dishes.
