Benefits: Dental Insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Job Details Job Details: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Control Supervisor to join our fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for overseeing our quality control processes to ensure our products meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. The successful candidate will have a strong background in sanitation, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP), and managing certification audits. Responsibilities Oversee quality control processes across all stages of production to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Supervise a team of 25+ Quality Technicians, providing guidance, training, and feedback to ensure optimal performance. Implement and manage HACCP and SSOP programs to maintain product safety and quality. Conduct regular sanitation audits and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain a clean and safe production environment. Manage certification audits, ensuring all processes and documentation are compliant with regulatory standards. Collaborate with other departments to identify and resolve quality issues, implementing preventative measures to reduce recurrence. Develop and implement quality control training programs for staff to enhance knowledge and skills. Monitor and report on quality control metrics, providing recommendations for continuous improvement. Qualifications A Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality control role within the manufacturing industry. At least 3 years of experience in food safety, preferred but not mandatory. Proven experience in managing HACCP and SSOP programs. Demonstrated experience in managing certification audits. Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of supervising a large team. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in using quality control software and tools. Sometimes Jobot is required to perform background checks with your authorization.
