Medical Assistant Full time 10am-6pm

This full-time opportunity offers 36-hours per week, full benefits, and a night shift schedule. There is an opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested.

Role and Responsibilities

Assumes responsibility and accountability for routine patient care, under the supervision of an RN, cleaning/stocking, transporting patients, and performs additional duties as requested, interviewing patients, measuring vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), performing EKGs. Greets patients that arrive into the ER with a smile and professional demeanor and performs QPI (quick registration) efficiently and accurately. Rounds on patients in the ER lobby and escalates patient needs to the RN.
