Location: Whitestown, IN.

Salary Range: 70k - 87k

Work Schedule: Onsite, Monday through Friday

In this pivotal role, you will design, develop, and fine-tune manufacturing systems, including extrusion, injection molding, assembly, and packaging. You’ll collaborate across departments to implement process improvements, develop tooling and fixtures, and ensure products are manufactured cost-effectively and with superior quality. Your expertise will help drive efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain regulatory compliance, supporting our commitment to excellence and innovation.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of plastics manufacturing processes such as injection molding and extrusion
• Proficiency in CAD software for tooling and fixture design
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical mindset with strong organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines
• Familiarity with quality control standards (ISO, ASTM)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Nice to Have Skills:

• Project management experience
• Experience with failure analysis and root cause investigations
• Knowledge of manufacturing risk mitigation strategies
• Additional certifications in manufacturing or quality assurance

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Associate's degree in engineering, plastics engineering, or related field required; bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, especially within plastic product production
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience are welcome

Other Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and handle tools regularly; occasional lifting of up to 35 pounds required
• Experience working near mechanical equipment and moderate noise levels
• Ability to recognize color and perform visual inspections
• Willingness to collaborate on tooling development and process validation
• Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving equipment and airborne particles
