Physical Therapist-Flex/Per Diem

Provides therapy services defined in treatment plans, and works cooperatively with physicians, case managers, and staff. What You'll Do As a Physical Therapist, you will: Evaluate and assess patient needs to develop individualized treatment plans Provide physical therapy services in accordance with established treatment plans Collaborate closely with physicians, case managers, and interdisciplinary care teams Supervise and provide direction to Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehabilitation Aides/Technicians Deliver high-quality care to adult and geriatric patient populations Ensure compliance with departmental standards, state practice acts, and Mercy Service Standards Contribute to a positive, patient-centered care environment Qualifications Required Education Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy Required Licensure & Certifications Current or temporary Physical Therapy license in the state of practice Current BLS certification (must be obtained prior to independently caring for patients) Preferred Experience Six months to one year of rehabilitation experience Experience working with adult and geriatric patients preferred Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to: Lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis Stand and walk for extended periods during each shift Frequently bend, kneel, twist, squat, reach, and grip while providing patient care Benefits That Support You Eligible co-workers working 32 hours or more per pay period may receive: Day-one medical, dental, and vision coverage Paid time off (PTO) Tuition reimbursement Employer-matched retirement funds And much more Grow Your Career With Mercy At Mercy, you'll find a supportive team that stands beside you through every challenge and success.
