Prepared Meals and Rotisserie Chicken Associate Location: Des Plaines, IL 60018-1834 Pay: $18.00 - $26.00/hr* Job type: Full time Position Summary Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organizing? Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for members by following recipes and preparing warm rotisserie chicken. They wrap, label, and store merchandise to keep items fresh for members, juggle tasks, and help members with bakery orders, ensuring a great shopping experience. Responsibilities Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise and help educate other associates. Collaborate across teams and communicate effectively with members of the team. Prepare food according to item specifications, plan production, and adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment. Use digital tools to drive sales and improve the customer experience, making immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality. Drive performance of the area, managing exposure and expectations, stocking and rotating merchandise, ensuring quality and date control standards, eliminating waste, and guiding peers. Provide high-quality service and products, modeling energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, using the Open Door Policy. Complete work assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other partners. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older.
