Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (unpaid 1-hour lunch)

Hours/week: ~40

Employment Type: Contract

License/Certs: Valid IL license, BLS required

Experience: 1+ year preferred

Hourly Rate: $253.50

What You'll Do

• Provide outpatient endocrinology consultations managing conditions such as thyroid disorders, diabetes, pituitary issues, and related endocrine disorders
• Perform procedures like FNA when needed
• Collaborate with support staff, including RNs, dietitians, and diabetes educators
• Document patient interactions efficiently in EPIC EMR
• Support adult and geriatric patient populations
• Maintain high standards of patient care and safety

What You Need

• MD or DO with Board Certification in Endocrinology or Internal Medicine with Endocrinology experience
• Valid Illinois medical license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred
• Ability to start promptly; no licensing delays

About the Assignment Join a well-established outpatient clinic in Mount Vernon, IL, offering a full spectrum of endocrine services. The provider will support 12-15 adult and geriatric patients daily, focusing on managing common endocrine conditions. The facility features a collaborative environment with experienced support staff and state-of-the-art documentation systems.
