Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Registered Nurse (RN)This position entails a 12-hour night shift (1900 - 0730) with weekend rotation, and participation in a call rotation requiring one call shift every two weeks, based on staffing needs.We are seeking experienced Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Registered Nurses who are also willing to cover the Coronary Care Unit (CCU). The ideal candidate will have Day 0 CVICU experience. This role offers the opportunity to work at a smaller, independent facility committed to serving the local community.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the CVICU and CCU.Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment to assess patient needs and implement appropriate interventions.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor patient responses.Participate in the care continuum and follow protocols for effective patient management.QualificationsMinimum of 3 years of critical care nursing experience required.Valid Colorado RN license in good standing.Current certifications in BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association.Strong CVICU skills with Day 0 CVICU experience.Mandatory flu vaccination from October 1st through April, with no declinations accepted.Holiday coverage will be required.
