Position / Specialty: Medical Assistant Shift: 5x8s, 8a-430p (Mon-Wed & Fri) + 10a-630p (Thursday) Call Requirements: N/A Weekend Requirement: Every first and third Saturday 8a-430p with a weekday off RTO: **Submissions with no RTO within first 4-5 weeks of assignment will be prioritized** 5 days max with no more than 2 consecutive. No holiday RTO. No RTO the day prior or after a holiday. No RTO on weekends. Will the clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Cook is a MANDATORY FLOAT FACILITY; all resources are required to float at the facility's discretion. Guaranteed Hours: 40 Years of experience REQ: 2+ Years of experience preferred + MA Associate's Degree or MA Diploma (copy of transcripts required prior to start) AND MA Certification + BLS OR 5 years of MA experience + MA Certification + BLS Phlebotomy experience needed. Clinician will work in the clinic in this capacity for a week at a time. Certs REQ: BLS + Must have a MA certification from the below: American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) American Medical Technologists (AMT) National Health Career Association (NHA) American Registry of Medical Assistant (ARMA) National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) Locals accepted: Yes - locals only. Must live within 75 miles of the facility.
