Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides specialized critical care nursing to ICU patients, ensuring accurate assessment, monitoring, and intervention to support patient recovery. Works collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive critical care nursing services to ICU patients, including titration and management of pressor medications.
• Perform and assist with procedures such as arterial line management, CVC and art line insertions, and bronchoscopy.
• Monitor patient vital signs and equipment like CRRT, vents, MTP, Hemospheres, EVD, TTM, and circulatory devices, adjusting treatments as needed.
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in Meditech EMR, adhering to unit policies and protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Follow unit policies, including attendance, schedule commitments, and adherence to safety and dress code standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven critical care nursing experience in an ICU setting.
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Skilled in pressor medication and arterial line management.
• Ability to perform critical procedures like CVC insertion and bronchoscopy.
• Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and team collaboration skills.
