Paraprofessional, Summer Exploration Program

Job Summary To provide support to one or more students with disabilities, enabling them to receive greater benefit from the district's instructional program. Qualifications ISBE Paraprofessional License required Teacher of Substitute Licensure preferred Successful instructional or organized recreational experience with children preferred Terms of Employment This is a temporary and seasonal position consisting of 4-5 weeks of employment as outlined below and paid an hourly rate of $17.00. Work hours are 8:15 a.m. - 3:45 p.m., including a 30 minute unpaid lunch (7.0 paid hours per day). Total compensation for the full program is $2,856 (168 total hours). Candidates must be available to attend additional paid, mandatory training sessions on June 10 and June 11 - actual dates/times to be determined.
