CT Tech Radiology / Cardiology

Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (17:00 - 05:30); Day 3x12-Hour (06:00 - 18:30) Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1-year experience required License: CA License must be in hand Certifications: BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced, CA CRT Must-Have: Must be open to all shift times, cannot accommodate specific shift requests Description: The role requires a CT Tech. The candidate must have the ability to work self-scheduled shifts based on seniority. Local candidates will be accepted at the same rate. Various start times will be utilized for CT, including 0600, 0800, 1500, and 1700. There is no call requirement for this position. Floating between like units is not anticipated. The tech will be working in a very busy department, primarily handling emergency department patients. Staff will be encouraged to assist with transport support as needed. Special equipment includes a 64-slice Toshiba Aquilion scanner and a 64-slice GE Lightspeed. The tech will need to complete necessary modules prior to the start and annually thereafter. References covering one year within the last three years will be required prior to the start. Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within a given state. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
