Pay $21~$26 per hour Salary Details - Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience. Employment Type Full-time Requirements Experienced Dental Assistant (1+ years) General Dentistry Infection Control License X-ray / Radiography Certification Previous experience as a Dental Assistant preferred but not required (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply). Proficient knowledge of dental terminology and general dentistry practices. Ability to competently perform dental X-rays and other medical imaging. Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with patients of all ages. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate record-keeping. Job Description Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures by preparing and passing instruments and materials. Take dental X-rays and perform medical imaging following established safety protocols. Prepare treatment rooms before patient appointments and sterilize instruments after use, ensuring aseptic techniques are maintained. Manage patient medical records accurately, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and other regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and general dental health practices. Demonstrate a solid understanding of anatomy to effectively assist in various dental procedures. Utilize dental software such as Open Dental for appointment scheduling and patient information management. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
