Environmental/Regulatory Associate

Our Environmental group seeks an associate with experience in environmental regulatory matters. The position involves assisting companies in all aspects of state and federal regulatory processes, including rule and guidance development, permitting, implementation of compliance programs, self-evaluation of compliance, enforcement, and administrative litigation. Clean Air Act experience or demonstrated interest in air quality matters is strongly preferred. Qualified candidates will have experience in the following areas: Advising clients on a wide range of environmental regulatory matters. Strong legal research and legal writing skills. Preferred background in environmental science or energy. Qualifications: Juris Doctor Must be licensed to practice law and a member in good standing in the state/jurisdiction in Colorado or willing to comply with the legal process to waive into the Colorado Bar. Successful candidates will have strong analytical skills and a willingness to contribute positively to a collaborative work environment. Ideal candidate would have 2 to 4 years of experience Position Type: Full-Time/Regular Salary Range: $170,000 to $215,000 – Depending on experience. At year-end, this position is eligible for an hours-based bonus and may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
