What You'll Do
- Provide medical management for adult inpatient rehab patients.
- Participate in routine clinical procedures such as joint injections and baclofen pump management.
- Support the interdisciplinary team with non-procedural and procedural care.
- Coordinate with hospitalists and other medical staff for seamless patient care.
- Assist in determining rehabilitation needs and ongoing patient assessments.
- Support hospital efforts during provider's absence, ensuring continuous patient service.
What You Need
- Required:
- Board-certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)
- Illinois medical license
- ACLS certification
- 1-2 years inpatient rehab experience
- Preferred:
- Experience with inpatient rehabilitation procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
About the Assignment This assignment takes place at a well-equipped hospital with a dedicated 11-bed inpatient rehab unit serving adult patients. The role involves inpatient care, collaborative team efforts, and procedural support to ensure top-quality rehabilitation services. The facility is committed to patient-centered care and professional excellence.
