Job Description
The Lead Electrician will oversee and work along side crews doing electrical installations and maintenance for commercial projects, managing small teams and multiple crews to ensure high-quality work and safety compliance. This role involves coordinating project tasks, providing technical training, and troubleshooting electrical systems to meet code standards and client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Install and wire electrical systems on commercial projects
- Conduct system testing and troubleshoot electrical issues
- Perform safety inspections and ensure compliance with codes
- Lead and supervise small teams and multiple crews
- Coordinate project tasks and timelines
- Oversee maintenance and repair activities
- Provide technical training and guidance to team members
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in electrical work
- Proficient in electrical systems and blueprint reading
- Strong troubleshooting and safety compliance skills
- Demonstrated team leadership and project management abilities
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and time management skills
