Associate Attorney: Family Law & Divorce Firm: Fred A. Joshua, P.C. Location: Palos Hills, IL / Chicago (On-site) Practice Area: Family Law & Complex Custody Firm Description Fred A. Joshua, P.C. is a premier family law firm serving Cook, Will and DuPage Counties. We focus on family law in general and divorce work specifically. We are seeking an ambitious Associate Attorney to join our high-performance team. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will be an architect of strategy for various dissolutions and contested custody matters. Key Daily Tasks Advocacy: Draft pleadings and motions with a focus on meticulous detail and tactical precision. Complex Discovery: Lead the analysis of complex business valuations, asset tracing, and financial portfolios. Courtroom Engagement: Represent clients in high-stakes hearings and trials, Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and an active Illinois Law License. Expertise: Strong foundation in Family Law (previous experience in high-asset cases or civil litigation is highly preferred). Negotiation & Trial Skills: Advanced negotiation skills with a "controlled aggression" approach and a desire to be in the courtroom. Analytical Prowess: Ability to conduct in-depth research and synthesize complex financial data. Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to navigate sensitive family dynamics with poise and discretion.
