Locums Emergency Medicine Physician

A busy Level II Trauma Center in Webster Texas is seeking a Locums Emergency Medicine Physician to join its experienced Emergency Department team. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a high-acuity setting with strong specialty support, modern technology, and a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

• Setting: Level II Trauma Center
• High-acuity Emergency Department
• Collaborative physician-led team with comprehensive specialty backup

• Approximately 50,000 annual Emergency Department visits
• 36-bed Emergency Department
• Dedicated Adult and Pediatric Emergency Departments
• Accredited Cycle III Chest Pain Center
• Level II Trauma Center
• EMR: Meditech

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a broad spectrum of emergency medical conditions
• Manage high-acuity medical and traumatic emergencies
• Perform emergency procedures within the scope of Emergency Medicine practice
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic evaluations
• Stabilize critically ill and injured patients
• Collaborate with specialists, nursing staff, and ancillary teams to deliver timely, evidence-based patient care
• Accurately document patient encounters using Meditech

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
• Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain licensure
• Current DEA registration
• ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and BLS certifications, as required
