Outside Machinist Installs, aligns, and repairs ship machinery such as propelling machinery, auxiliary motors, pumps, ventilating equipment, steering gear, laundry and galley equipment. Working from blueprints and using hand tools, calipers, heavy jacks, chain falls and micrometers.
