Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel job in Atlanta, Georgia.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist\n Discipline: Allied Health Professional\n Start Date: 10/12/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 40 hours per week\n Shift: 8 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Days, 5x8hrs\n Hours: 40 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 12, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 3-5+ years of experience proficient in both General Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures.Details\n \n Nuclear Medicine department performing both general nuclear medicine and PET/CT procedures\n Handles 10+ nuclear medicine studies and 12-14 PET/CT studies per day\n Floats between NM and PET as needed for direct and indirect patient care, including patient reminder calls\n Top procedures include WB bone scans, lung scans, gastric emptying studies, renal scans, HIDA scans, thyroid uptake and scans, thyroid whole body scans, DatScan brain scans, lymphoscintigraphy, parathyroid scans, FDG PET, and specialty PET\n Uses GE and Siemens equipment\n 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM\n On-call required, including one weekday evening (4:30 PM-10 PM) per week and one weekend day (7 AM-10 PM) per month\n Call-backs are typically limited to HIDA, GI bleed, brain death, and lung studies\n Requirements\n \n ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification required\n License required if applicable\n 3-5+ years of experience required\n Must be proficient in General Nuclear Medicine as well as PET procedures\n Additional Information\n \n Likely one holiday shift coverage expected during the contract given the timing\n Grey scrubs required\n Does not accept local candidates within 50 miles of the facility\n Former Emory staff must be separated for 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-755560.
