Join us and lay the foundation for your success. Duties and Responsibilities Design, install, and inspect dedicated circuits for sump pumps, dehumidifiers, and other moisture mitigation systems. Mount and wire lighting systems, outlets, switches, and GFCIs in crawlspaces and basements with precision and code compliance. Conduct advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics of electrical systems, resolving complex issues efficiently. Ensure all electrical installations meet NEC standards and local building codes; maintain compliance documentation. Lead and mentor electrical apprentices and journeymen, providing hands on instruction and supervision. Collaborate with waterproofing and encapsulation teams to coordinate electrical integration into broader system installations. Perform comprehensive safety assessments and implement corrective actions to mitigate electrical hazards. Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed. Communicate professionally with homeowners, project managers, and team members regarding scope, progress, and safety. Serve as a technical authority on electrical systems and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. It is an essential function of this job that the employee regularly and reliably reports to work on time each working day. Perform other duties as necessary or assigned. Qualifications Valid Master (or state equivalent) Electrical license issued by the state where the work will be performed, required. Minimum of 4 years of experience with residential electrical installation, repair, and service experience required. Experience with waterproofing systems and encapsulation methods preferred. Must have a valid, non-restrictive driver's license and meet requirements to become an approved driver. Ability to work in crawl spaces, basements, and other confined or damp environments. Extensive knowledge of local and state building codes and standards. You must be proficient working with computer software and be detail oriented, focused, and a team player. Ability to follow company policies and procedures, as well as observe safety guidelines and procedures OSHA 30 Safety Certification preferred. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various Groundworks locations as needed. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Working Conditions Work is primarily performed on construction/job sites with exposure to machinery, electrical hazards, and varying weather conditions. Standard work hours with potential for overtime, emergency calls, and flexible scheduling to meet project demands. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and strict adherence to safety protocols is mandatory. Physically demanding role requiring standing, climbing, and handling electrical equipment and tools.
