Family Law Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a highly motivated Family Law Attorney in Boone, NC. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on diverse family law matters, providing essential support to clients and contributing to the firm's success. Duties Conduct legal research. Assist with legal administrative tasks, including document management and organization. Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and briefs. Negotiate on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes. Represent clients in court proceedings and other legal proceedings. Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide legal advice. Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact client cases. Requirements Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the North Carolina state bar association. Strong research skills with experience using legal research databases. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide sound legal advice. Experience in legal drafting, including contracts, pleadings, and briefs. Ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of clients. Litigation experience is preferred but not required. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
