Job Title: Travel RN - Cath Lab Tech Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10.5 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Cath Lab experience Structural Heart experience IABP experience Impella experience IFR experience FFR experience Description: Looking for a Travel RN for a Cath Lab position. The unit has 7 holding beds. Patient ratios are managed according to staffing levels. The equipment used includes GE Innova and Impella. The documentation system is MacLab and Meditech. Scheduling is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. On-call for STEMI is approximately 10 to 12 days per month. Self-scheduling is available. Floating may be required within departments. Advanced skills required include PCI, PFO, Impella, and IABP. Various procedures performed include TAVR, PFOA, atherectomy, PCI, R/LHC, and implants. DCCV and TEE procedures are also conducted in this unit. Surgical scrubs are provided by the facility. Unit policies and guidelines are available for review.
