In the Operating Room, the Nursing Coordinator Surgical Services will guide a high-performing Surgical Services platform within a premier, community-focused facility offering 24/7 emergency care, advanced robotic surgery (Da Vinci system), and high-end diagnostic imaging, including orthopedics and cardiology, in a modern, private, and accessible setting; the Nurse Supervisor Operating Room will help synchronize pre-op, intra-op, and PACU workflows to ensure superior throughput, safety, and patient satisfaction across complex and elective surgical cases.

Reporting to the Director of Perioperative Services, the Nurse Supervisor Perioperative Services partners closely with surgeons, anesthesia, SPD, PACU, pre-op, and quality leaders; as the Nursing Coordinator Surgical Services, core responsibilities include staffing and scheduling, on-time starts, turnover optimization, block utilization management, preference card and supply stewardship, infection prevention best practices, policy compliance, competency validation, orientation and precepting, real-time problem solving, and performance improvement using Lean and evidence-based methodologies—supported by friendly nurses and a diverse, highly skilled team of allied health professionals committed to collaboration, respect, and continuous learning.
