$19.20 - $26.40
Position Summary:


The successful applicant will work with other members of the consumables production team to support and sustain manufacturing activities for capillary coating and cartridge fabrication in an ISO 13485 environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate semi-automated custom equipment and software
  
• Perform entry-level functions and jobs within the manufacturing department
  
• Perform in-process QC inspection and documentation
  
• Perform tasks to assist process engineers and a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists to implement improvements and troubleshooting issues
  
• Must be detail-oriented, learn quickly, respond to feedback, and communicate clearly
  
• Responsible for continual ISO 13485 quality compliance
  
• Read and follow SOPs, WIs, and regulatory documentation
  
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills (English)
  
• Safety-minded, disciplined workmanship
  
• Familiar with basic computer software: Microsoft Office
  
• Capable of basic ERP functions
  
• Able to learn new skills, concepts, and tasks as required
  
• Follow priorities per the supervisor
  
• Understand and follow appropriate standard operating procedures for Regulatory awareness of chemical handling and hazards
  
• Work may change from day to day within reasonable and expected boundaries and qualifications
  
• Complete all compliance training as assigned
  
• Meets quality and productivity expectations
  
• Participate in continuous process improvement efforts by assisting with the efforts under the guidance of leads and supervisors
  
• Works independently with minimal supervision on routine tasks
  

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma and 2+ years' experience in a relevant manufacturing environment
  
• Experience with manufacturing, medical device manufacturing is a plus.
  
• Working with a microscope daily and understanding the use of space under a microscope is a plus.
  

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  
• Ability to follow SOPs, work instructions, and quality procedures.
  
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  
• Proficient in the use of measurement and inspection tools.
  
• Accurate documentation and record-keeping skills.
  
• Commitment to workplace safety and compliance requirements.
  
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
  
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  
• Effective verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization.
  

Working Conditions:

• Work performed in a laboratory and production environment with exposure to chemicals, reagents, and standard lab equipment.
  
• Standard schedule hours with occasional variation depending on production needs.
  
• Onsite work required during standard business hours.
  

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and handle materials weighing 5-50 lbs.
  
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive laboratory tasks for extended periods.
  
• Manual dexterity required for laboratory equipment and fine measurement techniques.
