Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to stock the line with unfinished goods and materials, and transport finished goods to the warehouse for shipping.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift to manage materials.
• Load the production line with necessary materials.
• Shrink wrap and package parts for shipping.
• Handle materials and organize the shop efficiently.
• Maintain inventory control and manage stock levels.

• 6 months to 1 year of sit-down forklift experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with sit-down propane forklifts.
• Proficiency in material handling, picking, loading, and stocking.

• Experience in shipping and receiving processes.
• Ability to operate a forklift in tight spaces.

Work Environment

The work takes place in a plating facility with good circulation, though it may not be the cleanest. Work boots are required, and the facility demands precise operation of forklifts in tight areas. The position is for the 1st shift, running from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, MI.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Warren,MI.
