Director of Nursing

Position Overview Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for overseeing all aspects of clinical operations within a skilled nursing and long-term care setting. This includes ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, promoting person-centered care, managing nursing staff performance, and supporting positive resident outcomes. Location: Batesville, IN. Responsibilities Direct and supervise all nursing department operations Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations Oversee infection control, documentation, and quality assurance programs Lead and mentor nursing staff to achieve clinical excellence Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals Maintain a culture of compassion, professionalism, and accountability Qualifications Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Indiana Minimum of 1 year of clinical management or supervisory experience in long-term care or skilled nursing Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Working knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations Passion for resident-centered care and team development Benefits Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Paid time off Bonus based on performance Training & development Medical Retirement Options #J-18808-Ljbffr SCHOFIELD&ASSOCIATES LLC
