Foreman

Overview The Foreman provides leadership to their crew and is an integral part of our success. The Foreman coordinates tasks and assignments based on work priority, schedules, objectives, and workforce availability. The Foreman monitors the progress of a project and keeps it on track from a time and budgetary standpoint. Candidates with experience in foundation repair, crawl space encapsulation, basement waterproofing, and concrete lifting solutions, and team leadership experience would be a great fit for this position. Responsibilities Lead a high-performance team serving customers in a local market/area. Review job specifications to determine materials, tools, and equipment needed before reporting to the job site. Assess job conditions on site; set out plans based on time allotment, tools needed, and work order and assign duties to the crew. Install products and services with the support of a national team of trained professionals. Innovate and troubleshoot situations as needed to meet company standards and timetables. Provide customers with superior quality and service while on site. Ensure all final documentation is done completely and accurately and is given to the proper parties. Supervise the crew and provide on-the-job training to Installers and a co-foreman. Drive the company-provided vehicle to and from the job site daily. Safely, correctly, and efficiently load and unload the truck with materials, tools, and equipment; clean the truck upon return to the branch. Safely, correctly, and efficiently perform installation duties according to instructions, methods, standards, and timetables provided by the Foreman and the company. Demonstrate great care of products, tools, and equipment. Plan, schedule and coordinate work, accounting for labor hours and productivity. Communicate with customers before, during, and after completion of the job, addressing any changes. Complete necessary paperwork, check-in and check-out procedures. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications Strong communication skills, ability to motivate, and be a team player. Experience leading crews or small teams. Basic construction or mechanical knowledge. Must have a valid, non-restrictive driver's license. Experience entering crawl spaces and other confined areas. Physical endurance to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs., walk, stand for long periods and perform strenuous labor. Good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination with quick arm and leg movements. Excellent stamina. Ability to read reports, data, statistics, and information on computer screens. Physical Requirements Lifts heavy objects up to 50 lbs.; walks and stands for long periods and performs strenuous physical labor. Uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue; effectively lifts and carries heavy loads. Requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand and arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination. Requires excellent stamina and ability to move arms and legs quickly.
