Role Overview The Emergency Department Travel RN provides high-quality, patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team, ensuring safety and individualized treatment based on evidence-based practices. They collaborate with healthcare professionals, communicate effectively, and uphold professional and ethical standards in accordance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Performing nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. Delivering relationship-based, culturally competent care tailored to patient needs. Coordinating safe care delivery, documenting accurately, and promoting teamwork through interdisciplinary communication. Participating in performance improvement, research, and evidence-based practice initiatives. Mentoring colleagues and supporting continuous professional development. Developing protocols, optimizing resource use, and ensuring compliance with policies and standards. Qualifications & Skills Associates or Bachelor's Nursing degree preferred. Current RN license (single-state or multi-state compact). Required certifications: BLS, PALS, TNCC, ACLS, with instructor certifications preferred. Previous travel experience strongly preferred. Ability to work night shifts, adapt to a contingency staffing model, and participate in scheduled rotations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
