Part-time Weekends Aide -MH/BH

Reporting to the Nurse Manager/Program Director, the certified nurse assistant/mental health worker will assist in the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health of patients assigned to his/her care. This includes assisting with ADL's, promoting wellness, health/education, and clearly documenting patient activities.

Qualifications

Essential Knowledge / Skills: Knowledge of Patient Rights, Knowledge of physiological changes that occur with patients age 55 plus.

Minimum Essential Experience: Six months recent hospital (med/surg and/or psych) experience required.

Minimum Essential Education: Assaultive Behavior Management training required within 90 days from date of hire.

Required Licenses / Certifications: Current California Certified Nurse Assistant Certificate preferred. Current BLS (CPR) Certificate required.
