Adjunct English Instructor

Olivet Writing Program Adjunct Pool Job Description Teach courses in the University of Olivet Writing Program, primarily in the first-year composition series. This posting represents positions available for in-person instruction on The University of Olivet campus. Adjunct instructor positions are part-time. Teaching assignments will vary from semester to semester. Essential Functions Evaluate and grade students’ class work, assignments and papers. Prepare and deliver instructional materials (i.e. syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts) in-person or via the Online Learning Management System. Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions. Compile, administer, and grade examinations. Participate in required reporting processes (i.e. grades, attendance, etc.). Minimum Qualifications Masters degree in English, Rhetoric & Composition, or a related field; or, a Masters degree in an unrelated field with at least 18 graduate credits in English.
