RN-Registered Nurse // ED - Emergency Department $1,246 weekly stipends, $17 - $19/hour, $612.0 - $684 weekly base pay. All-Onsite Contract. Starts 6/01/2026 for 8 weeks. Job Description Night Shift – 12 hours/day, 3 days per week. Departments : Emergency Services Job Title : RN – ER Specialty : Emergency Room Location : Baton Rouge, LA 70816 Duration : 8 weeks Shift : Night Shift – 12 Hour Shift Location: Iberville Free Standing. This role is either at Iberville Emergency or will float to it, as confirmed through communication. This job is a summary of the primary duties and responsibilities of the position. It is not intended to be a comprehensive listing. Education Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing. Experience Required: Minimum 2+ years in a nursing role. Certification Requirements Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Certification – 12 month. Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association. Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association. Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (NRP is ad hoc; please upload at submission). Preferred: Certification in a clinical specialty area. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Proficiency in using computers, software, and web‑based applications. Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to present information clearly and professionally. Good organizational and time‑management skills; self‑directed. Ability to demonstrate good judgment. Good interpersonal skills. Job Duties Effectively use the nursing process in the delivery of patient care. Assess learning needs and implement appropriate teaching strategies for patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources and serve as a leader and partner on the interdisciplinary team. Utilize data, information, and knowledge to evaluate and promote change to achieve optimal outcomes. Embrace concepts and behaviors that enhance customer satisfaction, employee morale, and the nursing profession. Adapt behavior to the specific patient population, respecting privacy and communicating effectively. Perform other related duties as required.
