Location: Lubbock, TX

Duration: 18-Month Project

Schedule: 13 Days On / 1 Day Off | 6 x 12-Hour Days

Seeking experienced Electrical Field Engineers to support a large-scale hyperscale data center project in Lubbock, TX. This role provides technical field support to construction and project management teams by coordinating engineering deliverables, resolving field design issues, managing documentation, and supporting electrical installation from construction through commissioning.

The current phase of the project is expected to continue through approximately December–February/March, with additional project opportunities anticipated following completion of the Lubbock assignment. We are seeking individuals interested in long-term assignments of 18 months or more

Scope of Work

This position will support Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) electrical systems across Data Halls 2, 3, and 4 , working closely with field operations, engineering, subcontractors, and project leadership to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Review IFC drawings, specifications, and electrical design documents.
• Provide technical field support and resolve design or installation conflicts.
• Prepare and process RFIs, submittals, and work packages.
• Develop and maintain accurate as-built documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Support inspections, testing, commissioning, and system turnover.
• Track field progress, quantities, and production.
• Assist with change order documentation and project reporting.
• Ensure field work aligns with project specifications and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical construction experience in data centers, industrial, power generation, petrochemical, or similar heavy industrial environments.
• Strong background in electrical installation and field engineering.
• Experience managing RFIs, submittals, work packages, and turnover documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting electrical field execution from installation through commissioning.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hyperscale data center experience.
• E&I project experience.
• Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent field experience.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam required. xhyhwjd
• Experience with BIM and Procore is a plus.
