Pouring Supervisor

The Pouring Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily plant operations and ensuring production schedules are met safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company goals. This role coordinates manpower, workflow, and resources across departments to maintain quality, productivity, and cost control. The Production Supervisor plays a key role in training employees, enforcing standards, and driving continuous improvement within the production environment.

Oversee daily pouring operations and workflow execution

Manage schedules based on production control priorities

Assign crews and schedule labor for pouring and finishing

Determine sequencing and prioritize work based on project needs

Coordinate across departments including engineering, drafting, and quality

Monitor production efficiency and proactively address delays or defects

Oversee inventory tracking and assist with monthly inventory processes

Manage purchase orders and support material procurement needs

Train, coach, and develop new and existing employees

Enforce company policies and procedures, including corrective action when necessary

The ideal candidate is a hands-on and organized production leader with experience in manufacturing or precast environments. They are highly skilled at managing people, schedules, and workflows while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. This individual is a proactive problem-solver who can adapt quickly, lead teams effectively, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced production setting.

• High school diploma required
• 2+ years of leadership experience
• 2+ years of experience working with concrete
• PCI Level I & II certification preferred
• Strong understanding of production processes and plant operations
• Ability to read schedules, manage workflow, and coordinate resources effectively
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Basic math skills and ability to manage production-related data
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple departments

Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally and frequent bending, climbing, kneeling, twisting, squatting, crawling, and repetitive hand/arm use

Capable of standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility for extended shifts of up to 12 hours

Ability to work safely in a production environment with moderate to high exposure to safety risks and hazards

Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions, including wet, hot, humid, and cold weather, and outdoors (Depending on location)

Ability to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility vest, hard hat, and other PPE as required by the task, department, or work area.
