About the Role:
Caring Companions, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time CNA to join our team in Windsor, CT. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients while working in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Your Scheduled Shift Options:
Option #1: Monday-Friday: 9am-12pm AND 4pm-7pm
Options #2: Monday-Friday: 9am-12pm OR 4pm-7pm
Option #3: Saturday and Sunday: 9am-12pm and/or 4pm-7pm

You will be assisting with incontinence care, bathing, dressing, laundry, transportation, companionship, safety supervision.
*Must be okay with a small dog.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with mobility and transportation of patients within the facility.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Engage patients in social and recreational activities to enhance their well-being.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.

Requirements:

• Current Connecticut CNA certification is preferred
• Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and move patients safely.
• Compassionate demeanor and a passion for helping others.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Basic CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
