Must be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB or hold Nuclear Medicine certification ARRT(N) and have a minimium of 1+ years Nuclear Medicine experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Current certification in Nuclear Medicine (CNMT, ARRT-N, or equivalent)
• PET scan experience required
• Valid and active state licensure in South Carolina (SC)
• BLS certification, or willingness to obtain before starting
• Strong knowledge of imaging safety protocols
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Prior experience with digital imaging systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality Nuclear Medicine and PET diagnostic procedures as ordered by physicians
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals based on established protocols
• Accurately document patient information and imaging results in electronic medical records
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions or safety issues during imaging procedures
• Maintain, calibrate, and ensure proper functioning of PET and Nuclear Medicine equipment
• Adhere to facility and regulatory standards for safety, quality, and patient privacy
• Collaborate with radiologists, clinicians, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients about their procedures, addressing concerns and providing reassurance
