Job Summary
Interventional Radiology Technician Neuro Specialty Evanston, IL. This full-time position involves supporting complex interventional radiology procedures, with a preference for neuro experience. The role requires scrubbing in with interventional radiology medical doctors for procedures such as thrombectomies, pulmonary embolizations, uterine fibroid embolizations, and Yttrium-90 treatments.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Illinois licensing, BLS (Basic Life Support), ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, minimum of 2 years of interventional radiology experience, and travel experience.
• Schedule: Day shifts, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
• Additional Responsibilities: Must be able to scrub in with IR medical doctors for complex procedures, including thrombectomies, pulmonary embolizations, UFE, and Y90. On-call is required for neuro cases with a 30-minute callback time and IR body procedures with a 45-minute callback time. The role includes taking up to 9 call days per month, with one weekend (Friday-Sunday) and one weekend day as a third team member.
• Certifications Required: BLS, ARRT
• Licensure: Illinois license, IEMA license preferred.
• On-call Requirements: On-call for neuro with 30-minute callback and IR body with 45-minute callback.
