OBSTETRICS/GYNECOLOGY OPPORTUNITY IN A CLINIC SETTING

We are a 99-bed independent community hospital located in Sterling, IL, operating under an employed physician model. Our organization currently employs approximately 77 physicians and 75 advanced practice providers across 35 medical specialties. In addition to our main hospital and clinic, we have 14 satellite facilities serving the surrounding area.

Key Responsibilities

• Board Certified/Board Eligible candidates are welcome.
• No overnight or weekend on-call duties required.
• Access to the DaVinci Robotic Surgical System (DV5) on-site.
• Manage approximately 550 births annually.
• Engage in a busy practice environment.
• Practice composition: 60% Obstetrics and 40% Gynecology.
• Level 2 Nursery available for patient care.
• When fully staffed, the team will include two on-call Ob/Gyn hospitalists, three clinic-based Ob/Gyn physicians, and three women’s health advanced practice providers/certified nurse midwives.
• Conduct patient consultations in the clinic.
• Perform deliveries from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, and from 7:00 AM to noon on Fridays.
• Carry out standard surgical procedures.
• Provide daytime C-section coverage for certified nurse midwives.
• Supervise advanced practice providers.
