Job Opportunity
Well established precision sheet metal manufacturer is now accepting applications for 1st and 2nd shift punch operators. This is an opportunity for the right person to join a dynamic team focusing on quality and performance to exceed our customers' expectations. This individual must have experience with Amada punches, the ability to read blueprints, understand G Code, understand die clearances, and maintain the equipment and tooling. The job responsibility will include a drive for continuous improvement in quality and the ability to meet demanding schedules.
Qualifications
- Technical knowledge of punch equipment, programs, and tooling. (Amada Equipment)
- Ability to read and interpret complex drawings.
- 3 years of experience in precision sheet metal manufacturing.
- Ability to read calipers and verify part quality.
- High School diploma or G.E.D required.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Your own tools are required.
- Drug screen administered as a condition of employment.
